Tom Parks Stars in Hooray for Hollywood – April 16, 2010 – May 9, 2010 at the Carl Cherry Center in Carmel, CA

I recently photographed Tom Parks in my boutique studio in Carmel, CA  to update the popular Carmel resident’s PR photos.  Many of you may remember Tom Park’s last successful play, What Fresh Hell is This? The Wit and Wisdom of Dorothy Parker, starring Rosemary Luke, who I also photographed.  Taking to the stage for this venture, Tom Parks stars in Hooray for Hollywood, Songs and Fables from the Golden Age of Movies, opening April 16, 2010 through May 9, 2010 at the Carl Cherry Center in Carmel, California. (4th and Guadalupe).    The production, directed by Peter Baldwin, also starts Michelle Bouleware.  Showtimes are at 7:00 P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2:00 P.M. on Sundays.  Perhaps better known as a director and playwright, Tom’s talent and affable personality are easily seen and captured on camera.  Tom requested both color and black & white images.  I knew that the Phase One P65+ medium format digital back was perfect to offer the smooth gradations and tonality for the perfect portrait for Tom.  Phase 645AF, Phase P65+, Phase 150mm f/2.8 D.
