Carmel High School Water Polo Cherries Are Up!

Water Polo Cherries, you say?  What’s that?  I’ve lost count how many water polo games that I’ve photographed this year.  Scott Crist has photographed most of the Frosh games, though I’ve done a handful of Frosh games as well.  Between the JV and Varsity games I know I’ve documented somewhere over fifty games this season, and well over four thousand images.  And we’re not done yet!  The CHS Varsity Water Polo Team heads to the quarter finals this weekend against number three seed, Los Altos.  The “cherries file” is simply a collection of images selected from each game, that have caught my eye.  And there are a lot of them!

I can attest to how quickly time passes. It doesn’t seem very long ago that the current group of varsity seniors were part of Coach Ed Sigourney’s first “Frosh” team at CHS.  It pays to start early to pace and track your son’s growth and participation with the team!  Recent changes in the league have really increased the number of games, so understandably it is difficult to keep up during a busy season.  I have posted the “Cherries Files” on the event hosting site, alongside all the other games that the CHS Frosh, JV, and Varsity teams have played this year.  Many of these images are used in Coach Aaron Gailey’s end of year slideshow, also available on DVD, sporting a custom cover featuring all three teams.  Proceeds help support CHS Water Polo!  See the menu bar on the right for the link to the Event Hosting site to view/purchase images.
